Cranium

The skull is made up of plates of bone with interlocking joints. The joints can be gently moved to relieve pressure within the skull, which may be causing symptoms such as migraines, headaches, sinusitis, tinitus, recurrent ear and throat infections.

The jaw, which articulates with the skull, is very sensitive to the state of your dentition. Abnormal bite, lost teeth or badly fitting dentures etc can cause muscle imbalance in the jaw and lead to a number of related symptoms similar to those mentioned above.

The bone plates in a baby's skull are very mobile to assist in the birth process. These are easily distorted during very long or very quick labours, emergency caesarean sections and during the assistance of labour by Vontouse and forceps delivery.

Gentle Chiropractic cranial moulding can help restore the position of the plates avoiding possible problems for the baby, child or adult in later life.
