Jenny Flowers BSc (Hons) MSST
Sports Therapy Practitioner
Jenny has always been passionate and a keen sports person herself with a special interest in hockey. She first took an interest in sports injuries as she found herself getting injured whilst playing hockey and wanted to know how to help herself and fix the reoccurring problems. This lead to her pursuing a degree in Sports Therapy at Coventry University, during this time she completed a research project into discovering whether there are any gender differences in athletes’ balance ability. Balance is used by everyone in everything they do; she wanted to learn the importance of balance and proprioception training to reduce the risk of injury.
Jenny has just started working at the chiropractic clinic to help treat acute sports injuries and cover the sports massage whilst Ruth Taylor is on maternity leave. She is a full member of the Society of Sports Therapists and has experience treating a variety of sports people and the general public. Sports therapy is for everyone. Lastly, she is very thankful for the opportunity and hopes to continue her skills during her time at the clinic.
